One of the questions we get asked on a regular basis is “How do I change my name on my Facebook account?” Gone are the days where the name you signed up with was the name you were stuck with forever. Following these four easy steps should be all you need to do (at least in the present edition of Facebook).
To edit your Facebook name do these steps!
1.) On the top right side of the menu select the down arrow.
Click on Account Settings.
Start by finding Account Settings on Facebook
2.) On this page you will see the top line is called “Name” your name will be displayed and then on the right side of this line will be an “Edit” link. Click on this link.
Select Edit by Name in Facebook Account Settings
3.) You will now have an open view of your profile name.
Update your name within the fields.

4.) Now click “Save Changes” and your profile name will be updated.
Remember to Save Changes in Facebook Account Settings
So there you have it! Four easy steps to update you name in the account settings on Facebook.
